Model Description: Our units are cut from solid close grained steel. No Welding! To ensure a tolerance of less than .002 inches, we use CNC machines with custom designed proprietary programs and tooling. Blackburn assemblies do away with a box that is too narrow or to short. All Mauser units are dimensioned for specific calibers to ensure proper stagger in the box. They allow the custom metalsmith or stockmaker to add their own special touch when finishing.
